Llebeig (gentle breeze)
As you ascend a village side road, you arrive at Llebeig, a country house with its flowers and fruit trees set above the cultivated terraced land on the mountainside. From this privileged position it offers wonderful panoramic views of the countryside and the Aitana mountains.
The small village of Alcolecha suddenly becomes visible around a bend when descending the north face of Aitana, the highest mountain in the Alicante province and nearest to the Mediterranean sea. Set in the heart of these mountains, the village of Alcolecha, its original buildings well preserved, is surrounded by terraced land, woods and fields with wild flowers, fountains and streams creating a melody of perfume and sound to add to the beauty of the countryside.
Peaceful and welcoming, it is an ideal place to rest, stroll and go on mountain walks.
